About the book

A comprehensive illustrated reference work covering the full breadth of marine fish and sea creatures — from cartilaginous fish such as sharks and rays, to bony fish, invertebrates, and the ecology of ocean life. Rowan Byrne is the credited photographer throughout, with his images appearing across the book's opening chapters on marine ecology, fish anatomy, evolution, and species biology. All jacket photographs are credited to www.marinecreatures.com.
